VP "Debate" Protest

Thursday, October 2, 2008
6:00 P.M.
Northmoor Park
Across from the WashU Campus on Big Bend South of Forsyth
University City, MO 63130

The CPD vice presidential "debate" will be held at Washington University on Thursday, Oct. 2.
Not surprisingly, the Libertarian Party candidate, Wayne Allyn Root was not invited.

Join us to protest this exclusion at the Wash U debate site. There will be a "public viewing area" (i.e. "free speech zone") where we will gather -- just across the street from Northmoor Park. Parking on the residential streets behind the park might be available (but Big Bend will be closed).

Bring your libertarian signs to wave (no posts or "pickets" allowed). We'll be trying to get some attention from media roaming the area.

More information about the debate and the "public viewing area" is available at:

Planning the final 30 days of the campaign

Sunday, October 5, 2008
2:00 P.M.
Talayna's at the Park (Pizza!)
310 De Baliviere
St. Louis, MO 63112

With 30 days left until election day, this will be an important planning meeting. Our special guest will be Patty Tweedle, the Missouri Coordinator for the Barr/Root 2008 campaign. We'll be discussing plans for local campaign events, canvassing and getting out the vote. Please be there!

We're asking for a $5 contribution to pay for pizza.
