Whittier Trails at Hellman Park

Start Time: Arrive by 3:00pm, the hike will start at 3:15pm.

Parking: There is a small parking lot located next to the trailhead at the park. There is also plenty of street parking available in the area, make sure to read parking signs.

Description: This will be my first hike in this area and I welcome anyone who wants to explore the trails with me. These scenic trails are located in the San Gabriel Valley. The trails offer some unique city views because of their location. The first 2 miles will have several steep uphills. It will be a short hike but strenuous because of the steep inclines. The pace will be moderate and the goal will be to get a workout. The hike will be 4 miles and end within 2 hours.

• Bring plenty of water.

• Wear comfortable hiking/trail shoes.

• Wear sun screen.
