Elysian Park Stairs and Trails

Start time: Try to arrive by 8:45am. The hike will start at exactly 9:00am. There is plenty of street parking available in the area.

Description: This hike will include both stairs and trails. Elysian Park is located just north of downtown Los Angeles; it is the oldest park in the city. Because of its location it offers some great views of the city and neighborhoods. The hike will include going up several steep uphills and one very steep/long staircase. The pace will be moderate as we will explore the trails and enjoy the views. We will start in Echo Park and then head to Elysian Park. This will be a loop hike, it will end at the starting location. The hike will be 5 miles and take about 2 hours.

REMINDERS:

• Bring plenty of water.

• Wear comfortable hiking/trail running shoes.

• Wear sunscreen and a hat.
