Urban Walk with Stairs and a Trail

Start Time: Try to arrive by 9:45am, the hike will start at exactly 10:00am. It is a busy area so plan ahead to arrive on time. There is street parking available in the area, just make sure to read parking signs.

Description: It's the 1-year anniversary of this group. To celebrate I want to have a fun walk that includes some of the unique landmarks in and near Echo Park. These landmarks include Echo Park Lake, Vista Hermosa Park, and the Walt Disney Concert Hall. The walk will be mostly on flat streets, with some stairs and uphill streets. The pace will be moderate with breaks to take photos. The walk will be over 5 miles and end in 2 hours.

NOTE: The temperate for this day is expected to reach a high in the low 70s, if it warms up I will change the meeting time.

REMINDERS

• Bring plenty of water.

• Wear comfortable walking/workout shoes.

• Always watch out for vehicles when crossing streets.
