Urban Hike to Chavez Ravine

Start Time: Try to arrive by 9:30am, the hike will start at exactly 9:45am. There is free street parking available on Echo Park Ave., Bellevue Ave., and the surrounding streets(make sure to read parking signs).

Chavez Ravine is located just north of downtown and offers a great view of the city. This hike will include going up stairs around Dodger Stadium, stairs in Echo Park, and trails in Elysian Park. It will take place before a Dodger game, so make sure to watch out for vehicles. The pace will be moderate and we will take breaks to enjoy the views of the stadium and city. It will be a loop hike, so we will end at the starting location. The hike will be over 5 miles and end within 3 hours.

REMINDERS

• Bring plenty of water.

• Wear comfortable walking/workout shoes.

• Always watch out for vehicles when crossing streets.
