Hike to Haunted Nazi Camp

Start time: Try to arrive by 9:45am. We will start the hike at 10:00am.

There is plenty of street parking in the area(make sure to read parking signs). There are no restrooms so make sure to use one before arriving.

Description:
The camp is not actually haunted, but is creepy and it's October the month of Halloween so let's pretend it is! The camp is known as Murphy Ranch and is located in Rustic Canyon. Some of the structures have fences around them with no trespassing signs. The plan is to stay on the stairs and road. We will also stay outside the fences surrounding the structures. The pace will be moderate as we will explore the ruins of the abandoned nazi camp. From the Sullivan Fire Rd we will hike down the canyon to the ruins. We will then come back up a very long stairway that has 500 consecutive steps. The hike will be 4 miles and finish within 2 hours.

• Bring plenty of water.

• Wear comfortable hiking/trail running shoes.

• Wear sunscreen and a hat.
