Start Time: Try to arrive by 9:45am, the hike will start at 10:00am. There is a parking lot inside the park.
Description: This will be my first time doing this route, I welcome those who want to explore these trails and neighborhood. Ascot Hills Park is located in El Sereno, it offers some great views of downtown Los Angeles (Video View of the Trails) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXEP3OnwZKY). Lincoln Park in Lincoln Heights is one of the oldest parks in the city, it was created in 1881 (Lincoln Park History) (http://www.kcet.org/updaily/socal_focus/history/la-as-subject/when-lincoln-park-was-eastlake.html). We will first explore the trails in Ascot Hills Park, this will include going up and down steep hills. We will then walk through the neighborhood to Lincoln Park and do a loop around the lake before heading back. The hike will be over 6 miles and end within 3 hours.
