Echo Park Urban Walk (To Vin Scully Avenue)

Start Time: Try to arrive by 5:30pm, the walk will start at 5:35pm. It is a busy area so plan ahead to arrive on time. There is street parking available on the streets around the lake, just make sure to read parking signs.

Description: This will be a moderate walk on mostly flat streets with only a few uphill streets and staircases. We will walk through Echo Park, including Vin Scully Avenue, and then Vista Hermosa Park. The Los Angeles City Council voted to change the name of Elysian Park Avenue to Vin Scully Avenue as a tribute for his 67 years as the Dodgers broadcaster. The walk will be over 5 miles and end in 2 hours, we will end at the meeting location.

• Always watch out for vehicles when crossing streets.
