Hi Everyone!

We'll be hosting a seasoned indie game developer for this event, covering advanced memory game development using Nextpeer's multiplayer tournaments platform.

Agenda

12:00 to 12:20pm - Welcome kick-off over Pizza and networking

12:20 to 12:30pm - 10min about social and multiplayer games

12:30 to 1:45pm - How to develop multiplayer iOS game

Speaker - Shu Chiun Cheah

Shu is developer and co-founder at GeoloPigs, an independent game studio that creates games about pigs and things that sound like pigs. A game developer with over 12 years of industry experience, Shu had worked at Electronic Arts and Disney Interactive Studios both in the US and in China. His game credits included Nascar Thunder, Madden NFL, and the Godfather game. His primary focus had been on console graphics and AI programming. Shu is now busy working on the next version of PeterPog (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/peterpog/id470032238?mt=8), an original IP from GeoloPigs.

  • The class if for beginners/advanced indie game developers

Shu will teach how to build a memory game, "Pog Match", and add multiplayer tournament capabilities in a 75min class.
