I had a great time. Seeing the pilot episode of "Almost Human" was a highlight.

I had so much fun. It was great to meet Seth and his friend. Wish I could have connected with the others, but it was crowded. Extra special because so many people were in costume! Really enjoyed seeing the pilot to JJ Abrams new science fiction series "Almost Human" staring Dr. McCoy...um...I mean Karl Urban. The show looks Wicked Awesome!

I am at the OMSI. Wearing a red shirt with TOS symbol on it. Come up and say "hi".

OMSI website says this starts at six, but this event is scheduled at five. Is this an error or are we meeting early for a reason?

of course there is a 10pm showing of Aliens, I suppose if people really wanted to we could go to this and then the late-night showing of Aliens.

just a note, there is a conflict with the Sci-Fi Wednesdays at Cinetopia, this particular event would be to see Aliens, which I would enjoy seeing as well. This however is also very interesting to me, so I would be curious just how good this event is, because it certainly is interesting, ever been to these OMSI events before?

I've been to After Dark once, about two or three years ago. It was VERY crowded, I suspect because it allows adults to explore the museum child-free. I don't know if the talks increase the draw or not, but if they're as good as Science Pub its probably worth going. Regarding the topic, it seems like somebody publishes a book or makes a TV documentary around this idea every year or so. Its always hard to tell if there will be anything new or if it will just be re-hash.
