This a completely different type of meet-up for start-ups. The focus is the search the start-ups that are great investments and have a firm footing on how to manage people and are ready to forecast how many they are likely to employ. Questions to be answered should always revolve around profit first and jobs latter. But truely in our economic crisis is it not better to invest in the future employers?  Get ready for a very different Start-up event in New York City.  The Start-ups in America and around the world are the future of Jobs. Industries will change over time, some ideas will fail but others will become the employer of the masses.  Where will they come from? Who is the next Steve Jobs? These new industries start as ideas and start with ambitions. Education in our country is the best in the world. We have what we need to bring back our country . There is not any logical person that would start a company to create jobs, but by DEFAULT any great idea should grow into a great company with a great leader. In this and up coming meetups we will search for great leaders with great ideas . We will give 3 start-ups up to 30 minutes each to explain their idea and explain their  forecast, their business concept . Start-ups deserve at least this opportunity. Monthly we will advertise to the outside the box not so ordinary Angel and Venture investor. We are in the Financial Capital of the World. If it cannot get funded in NYC it cannot get funded anywhere!

 

SPONSORS NEEDED! Monthly we shall present start-ups from a broad range of industries. Our format will be a networking hour complete with free beer and pizza. There will be 3 -30 minute presentations by promising start-ups that by default will create jobs. Every start-up will be required to project profit and workforce management forecast including a salary/ skill matrix. Audience will have two choices to vote "logical or not logical" Angel investors or those that wish to act as Angel Investors are always free to attend presentations by these young bright Start-ups. Angel investors that get free entry must make themselves known . The fee to attend the event will be $20 per person. Our first event will be held in NYC on October 12, 2011 7pm .
