8:00pm-8:30pm: Featured Speaker: Trish Flanagan, Founder, CVO Show Me Solar Power, a women-led solar sales force development company, Co-founded Picasolar, an early stage solar energy company, Co-founded Noble Impact, a
social entrepreneurship education initiative.

StartLouis is a group whose vision is to bring St. Louis area Start-ups and Entrepreneurs, Resources / Support Groups, and Investors together.

For Start-ups: 1. To practice in talking about their start-up to others. 2. To gather information from other start-ups and Entrepreneurs, Resources and Support Groups, and Investors. 3. To gather information on where to go for resources to move forward with their start-ups.

For Resources / Support Groups to share what they have to offer start-ups.

For Investors to meet / network with start-ups.

StartLouis goal is to complement Not compete with other Resources and Support Groups, and Investor Groups.

StartLouis is working towards attracting more start-ups, along with more Established start-ups, Resource / Support Groups, and Investors to attend the 2nd Tuesday of Month @ 6:30pm Events / Meetings.

Some facts about StartLouis:

The average monthly meetings attendance is 50 to 75+, sometimes reaching over a 100+, with about 20% to 30% are first time attendees.

Of the 900+ members who attend the 2nd Tuesday of Month @ 6:30pm Events / Meetings many are "Idea Stage" start-ups who are just beginning the journey to launch a start-up.

StartLouis was Founded Aug 30, 2011, and has had over 30 Events / Meetings, with a combined attendance of over 2,000+, with over 900 members.
