Larry Warnock graduated from Texas A&M University in 1983, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. During his time at Texas A&M, Mr. Warnock was a member of the Corp of Cadets (Squadron 2). Since leaving College Station, Mr. Warnock has worked in the technology industry for over 30 years. For a large portion of his career, Mr. Warnock did marketing for companies including Uniplex, Documentum, OnLink, Zilliant, and Vignette. More notably, from 2007-2010 Larry served as CEO of Phurnace Software Inc., a data center automation software company. Phurnace Software was acquired by market leader BMC in December 2009 and continues to be a high growth success for them.
Mr. Warnock now serves as the President and CEO of Austin-based Gazzang, a fast growing cloud infrastructure software company that provides enterprise class security through an encryption platform for LAMP stack open source tools, as well as robust key manager that can manage any key, token, certificate or opaque IT object. Many of their customers use Gazzang to encrypt the data in their big data projects on MongoDB, Cassandra and Hadoop. Gazzang is funded by Austin Ventures and SilverCreek Ventures. Mr. Warnock specializes in executive leadership, strategy formulation, sales, marketing, and branding.

Christopher Preston Bybee serves as Startup Grind/Aggieland's assistant director and host. Christopher is a student worker at Startup Aggieland and a member of the Startup Fellows program. Clare McDougall, a student worker at Startup Aggieland and former Startup Aggieland student worker Margaret Fleming round out the student team. Shelly Brenckman serves as director of the new chapter. Shelly is marketing coordinator at Startup Aggieland and also a mentor.

Startup Aggieland is a student-designed, student-led business accelerator located in Research Park on the west campus of Texas A&M University, about 70 miles from Houston. Management of the facility and programs are under the direct oversight of Assistant Director Don Lewis. Approximately 40 student startups are in various stages of launch at Startup Aggieland with some ventures currently making payroll. Fifteen of the student startups are members of the Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce. Startup Aggieland is a member of the Chamber, Startup America and also the National Business Incubator Association. Startup Aggieland is powered by the Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship (CNVE) n Mays Business School. Dr. Richard Lester serves as Executive Director of CNVE. An interdisciplinary collaboration, Startup Aggieland is supported by Texas A&M's Colleges of Engineering and Architecture, Mays Business School and the Division of Research. Startup Aggieland also features a freshman-only Startup Living Learning Community in Hullabaloo Hall on campus.
