Shahar Waiser is a serial entrepreneur who founded and built companies in US and Internationally.
In early 2000 Shahar served as CEO of publicly traded Comverse [NASDAQ:CMVT] – a market
leader in Internet / Mobile Telecom products and billing for mobile operators. Shahar founded
Russian entity of Comverse and served as its first CEO with a $300M record in total sales.
In 2005 moved to San Francisco; founded and successfully sold Loyalize, a social engagement &
loyalty start-up based in San Francisco (acquired by Viggle [VGGL]).
Lately he founded GetTaxi (operating in New York, London, Moscow, St. Petersburg and all
over Israel). GetTaxi is expected to hit $500M in Revenues by Dec’15 and keep growing by
400% per annum. In 2013 GetTaxi was selected by FORBES as one of the fastest growing
companies in the world.
Being passionate about computer programming since his childhood, he obtained a BSc. degree in
Computer Science in Tel Aviv and moved to Silicon Valley.
