Speaker:

Carol Roberts

Carol is the Founder and CEO of Stellar by Choice Consulting. She is also a Business Development Consultant, Strategist, and an accomplished Speaker. Ms. Roberts has over 20 years’ experience in three key sectors; Financial Services, International Development, and Government Relations and has also served on numerous Boards of Directors. Carol is a regular Guest Lecturer at Ryerson University’s Start-up School, The Ted Rogers School of Management, and she also a frequent Guest Speaker at Humber Business School and their Start-up Incubator, Humber Launch. Her presentation topics have included International Development, Stakeholder Engagement, Disruptive Leadership, and The Business Model Canvas. She has worked locally and internationally in New York, Washington, Ghana, Ethiopia, Burkina Faso, Senegal, and Paraguay. Carol finds great joy and fulfillment through mentoring eight University students and young professionals and sharing her experiences and insights.

Andrea Corey

Andrea is currently VP Product Development at Nudge Software where she is working on high-scale data-driven features with a variety of technologies.

Previously, she was at Eloqua for 14 years where she held various leadership positions in Database Development, SaaS Operations and Quality Assurance.

Andrea holds a degree in Applied Science, Engineering Physics from Queen's University.

Seema Pabari

Seema, food entrepreneur President and CEO of Tiffinday, a boutique retail food business specializing in plant-based South Asian cuisine. Seema left her executive career in marketing to create Tiffinday as a vegan food service which has grown to become a boutique retail business.

Retail food production is one of the most polluting sectors of commerce, Seema has been committed to bringing change to this sector by certifying and growing Tiffinday as a B-Corporation.

Abigail Slater

Abigail Slater is the Chair of SheEO Canada Fund and runs a private investment fund that includes an impact investment tranche. Her goal is to support and celebrate female entrepreneurs, while working to change the embedded financial systems in our world that are exclusive, narrow and limiting with regard to access to capital, business models & the definition of success.

Emily Rose

Emily is the founder and Chief Community Cultivator of Shecosystem: which she founded to hold space for women to work in integrity, nurture their personal and professional wellbeing and connect with a supportive community.. With an MA in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning, Emily spent a decade teaching and creating transformative educational journeys for youth in Canada and internationally.
