KICK-OFF EVENT:Friday, November 1st, 2013  6:30pm @

Karaoke Bleu Lounge

(includes open bar drinks and awesome food from Seoul Sausage, winner of the Great Food Truck Race on the Food Network )

This month, we are hosting Super-Angel David Lee, Founder and Managing Partner of SV Angel.   SV Angel is considered, by many, the top Seed Fund in the world, having invested early in every runaway success story you can imagine (Snapchat, Dropbox, Twitter, Pinterest, Square, Airbnb, just to name a few).   David and his mentor/partner-in-crime, Ron Conway, are so revered in Silicon Valley, that in the words of another top investor, Jeff Clavier from SoftTech Ventures, "the saying is that there is always room for David and Ron [in any deal], because what they can pull off, in terms of their network, is unbelievable.".   And, Sarah Lacy, one of the top tech writers today, calls David and Ron "the Godfathers of the Silicon Valley seed investing scene."

So what's David Lee's connection to SoCal?   Well, earlier this year, David moved with his family to LA.   Sarah Lacy broke the news on her tech blog, PandoDaily.

So, David is now our neighbor, although he does commute almost every week to the SF Bay Area.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
