IS A NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION FORMED FOR THE PROLIFERATION OF THE ART AND CULTURE OF TRUE CHICAGO STYLE STEPPIN THROUGH EXHIBITS, PERFORMANCES, LECTURES, SEMINARS, WORKSHOPS, PUBLICATIONS, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, YOUTH EMPOWERMENT, AND ANY OTHER APPROPRIATE MEANS OF EDUCATING AND RAISING AWARENESS TO TRUE CHICAGO STYLE STEPPIN IN GREATER BOSTON AND NEW ENGLAND.

This is symbolic of the 8 steps of the dance, which is called "basic 8."
