Want to get together for girls’ night out – at the range?  How about getting together for friendship and conversation over some good homemade meals?   We do it all in the Stir and Shoot Women’s Group!

Shooting sports aren’t just for guys anymore!   This meet-up group was founded by a woman firearms instructor who has trained scores of women and families in firearms safety, marksmanship, and personal protection.   Now, Stir and Shoot will be planning shooting, cooking and dining outings for women only.    And, with the longer summer days and warm weather coming, what better way to do all these than outdoors?

It doesn’t matter whether you are an experienced shooter, or someone just curious about shooting for the first time.   And that goes for cooking as well!   You are all welcome.    And feel free to break the ice by sharing a great recipe or showing off your favorite dish – just bring it along!

No reason to feel intimidated.   There will be plenty other women eager to share the same interests in shooting and/or cooking.     And, we’ll even offer classes for those who have never done either before.   So, which ever is your passion, we’ve got you covered!

This meet-up group is about women making friends while doing fun activities that interest us, and maybe even excite and challenge us!  There is no fee to join and no experience is necessary.  

We will be planning separate and combined events related to cooking and shooting.  

The “cooking” events can be as simple as meeting up for a girls’ night out at a restaurant for dinner.   Or, we can meet-up for a pot-luck dinner where each of us brings our favorite dish.   Or, we can even host “cooking lessons” by any of our members who’d like to show us how to make their favorite dish, snacks or desserts – and let us sample it!   With enough members and dishes, we could make a 7-course meal of it!   (And, don’t forget any dessert recipes and dishes calling for lots of chocolate in all different forms!)

Our summer shooting events will be conducted at various outdoor ranges in Sussex County!  Safety is our #1 priority, so all our shooting events begin with a safety breifing - for novices and experts, alike.  Don't own shooting gear of your own? No problem!  We can accommodate you.
