Philosophy Café: On Masculinity

What does it mean to be a man today? What does it mean to be masculine? How is the philosophy of Stoicism relate to the qualities of masculinity? Some liberal commentators say “toxic masculinity” is endemic in our society and the cause of our ills. Some conservative commentators say masculinity is dying out to our detriment.

With the principle of charity in hand, lets respectfully engage in dialogue and find out what masculinity really is and if it needs a redefinition or a revival. (Or both!)
