This group was started as a way for stroke survivors to connect, learn about the latest news & research about stroke and stroke prevention as well as to provide a place for social support.  We hope that this group can help those affected by stroke and its related difficulties including physical (paralysis, paresis), cognitive (memory, attention), speech/language (aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria), reading, writing, and visual (hemianopsia) impairments.

 

Meetings will be at Brennan & Burns, LLC, a speech-language therapy private clinic in Skokie, IL on the first Wednesday of every month.
