Suffolk Developers October 2016 - Digital Nature
Details
For this Octobers meet up, Adam Whittingham gives us an introduction to Natural Computation.
Have you ever wondered how ants can help you make text autocomplete more accurate? Or maybe you'd like to use flocks of birds to design a better train station?
Natural Computation is all about using ideas from nature in software and can lead to some very surprising results!
This talk is an introduction to the topic, with lots of examples from both academic experiments and real world applications.
As usual, we'll meet in the foyer of the UOS Waterfront building at 7:15 and head up for the talk to start at 7:30.
