Subject: New York Boycott - Law enforcement sales and the New York SAFE act

Dear Sir or Madam,

I would like to request that your company adopt the policies of over 60 fellow manufacturers of firearms and not sell any arms or accessories to law enforcement agencies that cannot be legally purchased by the residents of that state under their second amendment right to bear arms.
I support law enforcement, and the difficult, mostly thankless task they have, patrolling our violent streets. However, states disarming their citizens, and leaving them with insufficient or under-performing weapons simply makes the criminal's task too easy, leaving alone the question of the state having the right to even decide what guns and how many rounds per magazine citizens should carry, and whether mandatory registration is effective and constitutional.
Law abiding citizens are not terrorists, no matter what any state or federal agency might claim, and your organization knows as well as I do that these bans will do nothing to stop criminals, and only affect law abiding gun owners. It is tragic what has happened with a very few mentally ill individuals, however the majority of gun use is self defense, and it is remarkably effective.
With the huge number of companies already agreeing to follow similar policies, any company that does not risks media exposure and the ire of gun advocates around the globe. However, supporting the policy only cements the loyalty of gun advocates in the community, and may well see even higher sales because of their stand in favor of our Constitutional rights. That is simply the possible consequence, positive or negative, of a business decision that is yours to make.
If you are not the person to make this decision on whether to support the policy of not supplying weapons or accessories to law enforcement in regions where law abiding citizens cannot purchase them as well, I please ask that you forward this to the person or persons that do make that decision.
This is a critically important time in America, and possibly the rest of the world, for freedom and liberty. We simply ask you to stand with your customer's and supporter's right to purchase the firearms and accessories that they were granted more than two hundred years ago.

Thank you for your time and attention,

Would you like to do this as a group.  Is one person going to do it all?
