Moonlight Potluck Hike!

So it's been a while.. What can I say, we've been busy! Let's get together, on a lovely summer evening, catch up and hopefully meet some friendly new faces!

It's FRIDAY!! Put away your business attire, throw on some shorts, hiking shoes or trail runners and join us on this beautiful hilltop overlooking Newbury Park. You will enjoy a moonrise at 6:45 followed by the sunset. Bring some goodies to share and your beverage of choice.

If you are new to Meetup.com this is a great event to start!

We will meet and start the hike from Stagecoach parking lot and enjoy our goodies at Angel Vista, a hill with a picnic bench overlooking the city. We mingle there, enjoy good eats, wet our whistles and cheer to the beautiful views then hike back down to the parking lot.

• This is approximately 3.5 mile hike.

• 800ft +/- of elevation gain.

• This is an in and out hike.

• We will meet at 6pm and depart at 6:15pm

• Please bring food to share and your drink of choice, backpack recommended.

• MUST bring water, flashlight, jacket, hiking shoes (trail runners ok) and a happy hour attitude :)

• Should be back at parking lot by 8:30-9pm

• This is a short hike but we go at a modest pace, don't worry.. nobody gets left behind!

I will bring cups, plates, napkins, forks and a wine bottle opener.

Example of past events dishes.. hummus and pita bread, cheeses, artisan breads, salads, desserts, fried chicken, dips, chopped fruit, chocolate in any form and any home made dish. PLEASE JUST MAKE SURE FOOD IS READY TO SERVE, chopped, sliced, serving spoons etc.

And for drinks you may truly bring anything you like.

Directions: Take 101 South, exit Ventu Park, make a right onto Ventu Park.
Then right on Lynn Rd. Parking lot will be 100ft after turning. It's the first driveway on the right side at the end of white picket fence.

101 North drivers exit Ventu Park, make a left onto Ventu Park. Then right on Lynn Rd. Parking lot will be 100ft after turning. It's the first driveway on the right side at the end of white picket fence.
