FNST Western Corridor Hiking Series - Hike 2

Western Corridor Hiking Series  Hike 2  Eaton Creek to Sharpes Ferry Bridge

Get set for a real Florida adventure on this second section in the FNST Western Corridor Hiking Series. This section of the Western Corridor is one of the least traveled sections. Much of the trail is under water during the summer - and you will get your feet wet on this hike.

Wed. Oct. 30  Elizabeth Holland (Suncoast) w/ extra special help from Mike Mais (Florida Crackers)

Meet: Marshall Swamp Trailhead

Time: 8:30a.

Distance: Short - 5.5 miles (N.E. 145th Ave), Long - 11.7 miles Sharpes Ferry Bridge Road (314)

Location: [masked], [masked]

We'll meet at the Marshall Swamp TH and shuttle to the start of the hike.  Make sure you know whether you'll be doing the long or short hike when you arrive.  Be prompt.

What to Bring: 60 oz. of water required for either distance. Lunch and snacks. We will stop for lunch before walking through Hulls Creek. Bring extra socks and shoes. You do not want to complete the hike in wet socks and shoes. Sunscreen and bug spray are optional.

Carpooling:  If you would like to carpool, please post as a comment.

Ok, I should be back from Georgia. Will do the long hike, of course.
