Simple Gift, Remarkable Results: The Transformative Power of Shoes and Clothing

Our speaker is Minh Ngo, executive director of My New Red Shoes, an organization that helps children launch their new school year looking and feeling confident by providing homeless and low-income children with new clothing and shoes. Youth and adults rally around this effort through volunteer and educational opportunities for individuals, families, schools, corporations, and community groups.

Kids Corner

This month, our SASV kids will be creating cards and drawings for some of the children who will receive shoes from My New Red Shoes.

Arrive by 10:30 to enjoy some pre-assembly coffee/tea.

After Assembly, we gather for lunch at a lovely patio where we can get lunch at one of two spots, Happy Dog or The House of Bagels. Find us at 284 S. 11th St. (as San Carlos), just two blocks from SJWC.
