Re Riding with Aubrey - SPECIAL PERSONAL INVITE ? THIS SUNDAY ? Red Cedar Circle - True Teachings

From: Aubrey H.
Sent on: Saturday, July 31, 2010 12:26 PM
To my chagrin I have come to realize that heading north and taking the ferry will cost me around $32 plus the cost of gas. I am still going, however I will not be going the northern route. As a result of my route change I believe several ladies will not be able to ride with me. However, we have two options: 1) if those up north want to split the cost of what it would cost for me and my van on the ferry both ways then I would go that way, or 2) if those up north wanted to ride the bus to the same Tacoma or Lakewood Transit Center then I could pick them up there. Otherwise, I am sincerely sorry but I simply cannot afford to go the northern route.

If you want to talk to me about any of this please text or call. I have a meetup scheduled today from 3-7 and will be very busy and won't be checking my email until tonite.

I plan on leaving Tacoma around 1:30pm and arriving at Red Cedar Circle close to 3pm. Then will be departing Poulsbo close to 9pm, arriving in Tacoma close to 10:30pm. If someone were riding with me who needed to catch a bus back to Seattle that evening I would leave earlier.

Sorry for the confusion.

How to get there:

The address for this Circle is 19833 Lundvig Rd. If going north on 305 from the Agate Pass Bridge turn left on Viking Way. Go up to the light at Lundvig (Les Schwab is on the corner) and turn left. You'll go down the hill and follow around to the right, then make a right to go up a hill to where the pool building is, and you're there! Lesleys cell is[masked] if anyone gets lost. ***NOTE - This is not at Sacred Groves as usual this time, so please pay close attention to the driving directions and allow time***

I plan on taking the 2:05 ferry from Seattle which puts me on Bainbridge at 2:40 I arrive at the terminal at 1:15 as its summertime and the docks get busy. SO if you want to meet me there or on the Ferry please RSVP and let me know you can come!!! I have room in my Itty car for one person, so sharing the ferry cost would be kewlio! There is a 8:55 ferry that leave the island and a 9:45pm

Lesley Collins notified me today that the Red Cedar Circle is an open this Sunday and you can attend with me! I am truly grateful to be able to invite you as these ceremonies are not always open and it is where Si.Si.Wiss medicine ways are shared and honored are true indigenous teachings of our Pacific Northwest area. Si.Si.Wiss means sacred life; sacred breath and its medicine ways honor Creator and creation respectfully. Si.Si.Wiss traditions are ancient spiritual practices from the Pacific NorthWest Coast native people from Vancouver Island to Oregon. I use some of their teachings in my Womans groups as the are so profound, and they includes ancient songs and rituals common to the various tribes of the NW Coast. The new and ancient seasonal songs move with the spirit of the land and waters of this area. We will possibly also be participating in a traditional healing ceremony if there is a need or a call. If you are in need of healing.... this is probly one of the most powerful ceremonies you will have ever experienced.

**IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS CALL OR EMAIL ME! [masked] as I will be in and out for a retreat from Thurs to Sun at Noon.

The Red Cedar Circle teaches traditional medicine songs and dances for each season, prayers, teachings, and yes a powerful healing ceremony. Bring a potluck item, hoop drums, rattles, bells and any item youd like to place on the altar for blessings. And bring your own plate and utensils.
Si.Si.Wiss medicine ways are being orally passed on from (Johnny Moses), Taqseblu (Vi Hilbert whom has dropped her robe) and all the teachers who have shared for thousands of years the wisdom of the earth with those of open heart and open mind.

Lesley Collins has mentored for over 10 years in Si.Si.Wiss Medicine ways. She currently leads the Red Cedar Circles on Bainbridge Island at Sacred Groves and in the PNW, she is also going to come out to Milton hold a Red Cedar Circle for our Womans group, She Who Seeks. When it goes onto the calendar I'll surely let you know.

There is not a cost to attend yet if it is set upon your heart to donate to Lesley than there is a hearth basket on the altar.

I send you all lots of light, love and joyfilled days!
