Purpose
We, the supporters of the Patrick Henry Caucus, unite to sustain the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States. We pledge to support and uphold the principles embodied therein. Whereas the federal government has usurped powers beyond those delegated to it by the Constitution, we reclaim the Constitutionally protected rights of the States, and reject the position that States' sovereignty must be subordinate to the federal government.
Goal
To restore and uphold the sovereignty and rights of the individual States as guaranteed by the tenth amendment of the United States Constitution, which states, "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
