Details

Knowing how to shelter yourself from the elements is one of the key pieces of knowledge that you need to live comfortably outdoors.

This session will look at the various shelters that are available, both natural and human-made. We will look at the pro's and con's of various types of shelter, methods of construction/erection and get some practical experience of setting up a natural shelter as well as non-natural ones.

This session will take place in our 21 acre dedicated site near Horsham.

All of our team are all qualified Bushcraft instructors, first aid trained and have our own unique skills.

Please bring your own lunch and snacks. We will provide tea and coffee.

Due to the nature of the day and the activities, the session is open to anyone over 14, but those under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult (ratio of 2 children to 1 adult) who will be responsible for supervising the children throughout the day.

If required, we will provide knives for your use, so please do NOT bring your own.
