Details

This week we will be heading out to the coast and north through Camp Pendleton toward San Onofre State Beach (metric training ride goal) or the north end of San Clemente (full century training ride). The distance on both rides will be determined upon group interest, but the suggested distances are around 45-50 miles for the metric training group and 65-70 miles for the full century training group. The route is straightforward.

For the Full: ~65-70 miles, minimal climbing

For the Metric: 45-50 miles, minimal climbing

Road bikes are required for these rides. Please bring two bottles of liquid + electrolytes and fuel. We will stop on the longer ride at least once for fueling, and if necessary on the shorter ride.

BONUS: We also feel that it is essential to train for the post-ride celebration. Therefore, following the Sunday rides we will meet at Pizza Port in Bressi Ranch for snacks and drinks. Please bring cash if you'd like to take part in this crucial training.

IMPORTANT: BRING YOUR ID. REGISTER on the Camp Pendleton website as soon as possible, if you haven't already done so. If it's been awhile (several months) since you last registered, register again.
