Hi folks, just wanted to highlight a meetup is taking place at the King Street Brewhouse hosted by Port 80 tomorrow (Wednesday, November 13, 2013).
The synopsis for the evening is as follows:
It isn't news that writing secure web applications is difficult. What may surprise you is just how easy it is to compromise insecure web applications. Matt Palmer will give a demonstration of some common tools used to break into websites, and just how quickly they can find and exploit vulnerabilities. Caution: this talk may scare you so much you never deploy an application to the public Internet ever again...
Hope to see you there.
All the best,
