John Mallory EMC CTO for Analytics from USand Hadoop101 with MongoDB integration

We are very lucky to have John Mallory EMC CTO for Analytics, visiting Australia from US and being able to attend and share his view and experiance on the Big Data and Analytics industry during our first Meet Up. John is a 30-year technology industry veteran, with analytics experience dating back to Teradata in the late 1990’s. John’s current focus is to help define, promote next generation Analytics solutions—utilizing Isilon. John’s expertise and solution focus areas include Hadoop and the associated ecosystem, Splunk, Enterprise Data Warehouse archive, SAS Grid, NoSQL (MongoDB & Cassandra) solutions and Enterprise Data Lake Solutions.

We will show Hadoop and MongoDB integration and will demo how to use Python to run some basic scripts.
