Let's learn how to use FIG (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Biv58QU2dv4) and new docker hosts (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZGmvGw-mWc&feature=youtu.be) command.

Other useful content to watch includes:

View the Docker Clustering (https://github.com/docker/docker/pull/8859) design proposal on GitHub

The deadline to submit projects is Monday, November 3 - 9am PST. Please use this form (https://docs.google.com/a/docker.com/forms/d/1eT76LrZYpo8SCNP4hFyZcSJ-kd7_NSSbTYyrSMpLwIA/viewform) to submit your hack (including a 90-second presentation video).

Bring your fully charged laptop and phone with you.

You may choose to pre-install Docker, and download an image or two before you arrive. A few links to get you going...here (https://www.docker.com/tryit/)...and here (https://docs.docker.com/articles/basics/)....and, don't say I'm not good to you (https://github.com/wsargent/docker-cheat-sheet)!

In the unlikely event that WiFi gives up, don't forget to bring a tethering cable for your phone to act as the web gateway.

Here are the links to Rackspace servers (http://iwantaserver.io/) and Online Labs (http://labs.online.net/dghd) (ARM servers). Free cloud hacking! Ask the local co-organisers of your local edition to get access to Digital Ocean droplets. These cloud providers will allow you to create remote Docker instances very quickly...all you need to bring is an SSH public key (https://www.google.com.au/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=how%20to%20generate%20an%20ssh%20key), and a terminal emulator (e.g. Putty (http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html)) to connect.

Social media is wired up and ready to rock. The official Twitter hashtag is #dockerhackday and our group is @sydneydocker !
