This wil be predominantly a bushwalk with some urban walking. Starting at Wollstonecraft Station, we will take the Gore Cove track to Vista Street in Greenwich. We will cross Greenwich via a number of streets, before heading into Gore Creek Reserve and Lane Cove Bushland park to Lane Cove shopping village.

We will finish at Unwined Bar for live music, drinks and dinner (Thursday nights they have free live jazz and $10 steaks).

This walk is a relatively easy walk with one short, steep climb on a rock staircase from out of the valley from Wollstonecraft to Vista Street.

As there are lots of great short bushwalks around the lower North Shore, once daylight saving arrives we will organise evening walks to take advantage of the late sunset. The starting and ending points will vary from week to week but will generally be along the railway line and major bus routes from Milsons Point in the South to Chatswood in the North, Lane Cove River in the west and Mosman Bay in the east.

Start times may also vary, especially as the days get longer we may delay the start until 6:30pm to make it easier for people to get there.

Some of the walks to be done will include Berry Island and Gore Cove Track Wollstonecraft, Balls Head Waverton, the many parks around Lane Cove, Blue Gum Reserve near Chatswood, Artarmon Reserve, parts of the Round Willoughby Walk, Cremorne Point and others.

I will let people know meeting points and walking routes approximately a week before each walk. Times may vary, and due to work commitments it may be necessary for me to postpone or cancel the occasional walk.

In addition to the usual bushwalking requirements of a hat, water, sunscreen, good walking shoes you should also bring a torch, because although I am aiming to leave plenty of time to reach our destination in daylight, unforeseen circumstances can delay the group.

As the walks are held in the late evenings to ensure I can easily keep track of everyone, group numbers will be limited to 20 for safety reasons, therefore please only RSVP if you are 100% committed to attending.
