Workshop #1: Analog Electronic Sculpture and Robotics
Details
We're excited to announce that in collaboration with Electrofringe (http://electrofringe.net/) we'll be hosting two workshops, run by our members Sam Johnson and Hugh Kennedy.
Workshop #1 is an exploration of analog electronic sculpture and robotics. You will get to construct a sculpture or robot that uses motors and other electronic components to create interesting sounds or motion (think http://zimoun.net ), without Arduino or any coding.
No electronics knowledge is assumed. Start with a single motor and experiment with its motion or for more adventurous makers construct a self-balancing robot or light-seeker.
These workshops are run as part of Electrofringe (http://electrofringe.net/), and you're encouraged to come early and stay late to join in the other events.
Places are strictly limited, so please only RSVP if you can attend on the day.
