What we’re about
This group was born from discussions on Pentax Forums (hence the name). What began as a group for anyone who shoots with Pentax cameras or lenses, has now grown to accommodate all photographers, regardless of your equipment. While we do retain our focus on providing a forum for helping people who don't shoot with Nikon or Canon, all are welcome and nobody has ever been turned away from our meetups.
While we are based around Sydney, we welcome members from surrounding areas such as the Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Illawarra. We welcome everyone, whether you shoot film or digital, young or old. Photo shoots may be either in the Sydney basin or further afield.
We organise group photo shoots, provide help and assistance and generally enjoy photography together. Although we try to have at least one outing a month, this can be sporadic depending on organiser's availability.
