If you are new to WytchCraft, Wicca and the Pagan Path then this workshop is for you :)
When I first started WytchyWays back in 2001 I didn't teach at my workshops because I felt I was too inexperienced so I was inspired to gather teachers to offer workshops that interested me personally so I could learn. WytchyWays 101 is the workshop I would have created back then if I could. It's a day of exploring the 'basics' of wytchy ways.

We will begin our journey by entering the realms of real magick, we will define what white and black magick is and we will take a look at magick from a quantum and cosmic perspective. We will learn about why and how we work with the elements, and we will explore different ways of working with the elements. We will open the wytchy 'toolbox' and have a play, everything from the fiery cauldron to the crystal ball. This will also be a great opportunity to explore altars, how and why we create them. We will learn about creating a sacred circle and we will take a look at spellcrafting, the practice and ethics of how, when and why.

This workshop is followed by a Samhain Ritual!

This workshop welcomes men and women and young people from the age of 13yrs!

TIME: 10:00am - 4:00pm
VENUE: Inner West Cultural Services Hall/Dickson Space | 35 - 39 Dickson St Newtown (off Princess Hwy - a brisk walk from St Peters station)
COST: $65 prepaid/concession - $90 paid on the day (bookings essential)

Samhain Ritual Circle | Sunday 29th April 2012
This ritual circle will be embrace the mystery of Samhain ... we will do a guided visualisation to call on our ancestors and guides to share their wysdom with us. We will honour our loved one passed. We will burn beautiful incense in their honour ... we will rattle and bang instruments ... we will send messages of love to them!

please note you do not have to attend the WytchyWays 101 workshop to attend this ritual circle

TIME: 7:00pm for a 7:30 start - 9:00pm
VENUE: Inner West Cultural Services Hall/Dickson Space | 35 - 39 Dickson St Newtown (off Princess Hwy - a brisk walk from St Peters station)
COST: $20 full - $15 concession - PAY AT THE DOOR - correct change please
WHAT TO BRING:
• your cushion
• journal/pen
• wear a dark colour and bring a scarf/shawl to cover your head
• a photo of object representing a loved one who has passed
• something yummy to eat and/or drink to share at our feast
