To celebrate its first successful year of building a tech and startup community in Hertfordshire, SyncHerts presents SynConf 2015: A one-day un-conference bringing together our varied community to explore and learn from each other. Whether or not you have been to a SyncHerts event before or whether you are a designer, developer, entrepreneur or simply have an interest in technology and start-ups, this will be a brilliant day to learn and share with us all.

WHAT IS AN UN-CONFERENCE?
Un-conferences are different to traditional conferences in that here everyone attending is involved in shaping the event whether that be helping to run the day, leading a session/presentation at the event or just about anything else. All participants are encouraged to “have a go” in a safe and friendly environment. Sessions may be traditional presentations, interactive workshops, facilitated discussions or debates. In fact, almost anything goes! What happens on the day remains totally flexible until the morning of the event, when we’ll plan the day together. However, if you have ideas about what you may want to contribute and/or topics you’d like to present on then it would be great to hear from you in advance. Contact us at info@syncherts.com .

During the event there will be various sessions available over three tracks:

• DESIGN

• TECHNOLOGY

• BUSINESS

SCHEDULE
Being an un-conference, it is entirely up to you, the attendees, who speaks/presents and topics that are covered. We will kick the day off with attendees sticking an overview of their talk onto a large “session plan” board. This is then updated throughout the day as new ideas evolve and inspiration from previous talks strikes. The board will be frequently reviewed throughout the day to shape what happens next.
