The Internet's Own Boy - Viewing

"The Internet's Own Boy depicts the life of American computer programmer, writer, political organizer and Internet activist Aaron Swartz. It features interviews with his family and friends as well as the internet luminaries who worked with him. The film tells his story up to his eventual suicide after a legal battle, and explores the questions of access to information and civil liberties that drove his work." - Source: Archive.org

I think we need to show this again in January. We should also pick some dates that are memorable for successes - and run it then too. I think watching this at the Guild, with other geeks, is the best way to view it. Next time - lets do it in the afternoon, and plan to have a hackathon afterwards.

Sorry, had a conflict come up. Really looking forward to seeing this film at some point, and I'll be sure to spread the word. Cheers!

Right now we are limiting attendance to 25 attendee's, if we have more interest we can run a second showing after the first, or arrange for more seating.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
