Next Meetup Locked in!

Thanks everyone for making the first ever Syracuse Tech Meetup a huge success! We received great attendance, a lot of ecstatic reviews and awesome feedback from the group. We are excited to keep the energy going and have officially locked in the Sandbox as the location for our next event. Its a unique creative space located at The Tech Garden, you can check out some pictures here. (yes, we're working on getting some higher quality pics!)

For every meetup we want to do something a little bit different and unique and to start off we are structuring this meetup as a Tech Expo. If anyone has an interesting idea, interactive demo, new technology or cool company they work with or own in the area please reach out to display at the expo. Also, feel free to bring a labtop because there will be side rooms that people can go into to chat, showcase their stuff or collaborate on a project.
We Need Your Help!

If anyone wants to help the group become awesome, here are a few things we are trying to lock in right now and any help would be great:

? 1. Board Members: If anyone wants to take a more active role in the planning, direction and promotion of the meetups we are creating a board.
? 2. Sponsors: We will give them a banner at events and Kudos for being the best, forward thinking people/companies in NY
? 3. Speakers: For future meetups we would like to get some talented speakers to say a few words at the beginning to kick things off, this can even be through a video broadcast. We may have? someone?? from the NYC tech meetup (30,000 members) give a brief intro on November 8th.
? 4. Swag: If anyone has free stuff that they would like to give to the group at the meetups, we're certainly game.

Help us expand Syracuse Technology
Our main goal is to produce a culture of technology that is accessible to all levels of knowledge. Ultimately, that goal will only be realized with everyone's help, feedback and support. ?We encourage anyone who has an idea for an event to contact the Tech Garden or one of our organizers.

Thanks everyone and DONT FORGET TO RSVP for the meetup on Dec 8th at ........we don't want to run out of beer again!
