TAG- We’re it! Tween & Teen Autism Group…An active social group for families with tweens and teens on the autism spectrum.
TAG is a Meetup Group specifically reaching out to families with children on the autism spectrum, targeting ages 7-18 and their families, to provide social activities and support.
Families appropriate for our group have a child/children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) which includes Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, and Pervasive Developmental Disorder- not otherwise specified (PDD-NOS). Children with a primary diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder may also be diagnosed with comormid disorders such as Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD/ADHD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Anxiety, and Sensory Processing Disorder/Sensory Integration Dysfuntion (SPD).
We are excited to have a social group where children and parents can develop and maintain friendships, as well as social skills, while enjoying social activities and building a social network.
Our goal is to have a fun, close, cohesive, family-like community where all members feel accepted, comfortable, connected, and are active within our group. We work very hard to keep our calendar full of a variety and fun events, and encourage member involvement and communication. We hope for everyone to make connections through this group and have lasting friendships.
TAG- We’re it! Now let’s have fun :)
PS: this group is not for professionals in any medical or mental health field. If you are interested in TAG you can contact me (Rikki W) about becoming a sponsor for our group, and what perks are available.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
