So, why are you interested in studying improv?

I want to work on improv as a way of strengthening my nascent circus acts.

Are there any aspects of improv or acting are you especially interested in?

Connecting with people on stage, building an engaging persona, and interacting with the audience.

What kind of improv experience have you have, if any?

A few theatre games and workshops here and there. Nothing significantr.

Are you interested in the Level 1 Foundation classes for beginners, or the Level 2 Scenic Improv for more experienced improvisors?

I'm a dilettante who dreams of transforming into a one-woman traveling circus. I have a bit of technical theatre and performance background, and want to build on the comedic and physical theatre side of things. I've been in Tokyo since 1998.

What Kristen M. is saying about this Meetup Group

The more often I attend, the more I enjoy improv. Building trust and connections with the other improvisors is key. I learn new things in every workshop - not just improv games, but also how I think, interact, and react to situations. So satisfying.
