Welcome, Tidewater Film Fans!

If you're looking for good company and great movies, you're in the right place! This group is dedicated to finding and viewing independent, foreign, and classic films. We'll even head out for a first run popular movie if it seems intriguing.

The Message Board belongs to everyone in the group. Please read the "Informal Meetups" discussion for information on setting up your own movie outings. It outlines the only acceptable use of the group email distribution list.

When we go out to a movie together it's only fair to follow a couple of common courtesy movie viewing rules. They are the same requests you see on the big screen before the start of every movie:

1) No talking once the movie begins, even if your neighbor also likes to gab. Grab somebody to discuss the movie with once it's over and you may even make a new friend.

2) Turn off your cell phone. If you can't disconnect for the length of the movie, don't go.

I'll try to keep the calendar full, but I can use your help. Let me know what you find out there that looks like it will fit in with our group goals.
