The goals of the CT chapter of the User Experience Professionals' Association include to:

1. Provide a local network through which user experience professionals can share information about the techniques and methodologies in the profession.

2. Create an inclusive community for those interested in user experience, whether it is their primary focus or a related discipline.

3. Change new product development processes to include a concern for the people who use them by presenting the business case for usability in product development to colleagues, customers, the public and governmental agencies.

4. Increase the body of knowledge about user experience and user-centered design through professional education, meetings and conventions and other professional interchanges

There is currently no charge to attend group meetings.

Those in the following disciplines are welcome to attend: User Experience and Usability professionals, project managers, web designers, software developers, website owners, executives, students and business/systems analysts.
