Thank you Lisa and Mark for hosting a lovely evening full of fantastic food and new information to incorporate into our lives. It's comforting to know advocates like Mary are out there educating people to live more sustainable so our children and grandchildren might live in a better world. We all have our duty to do to make this possible. Thank you Mary!

Thanks very much for speaking to us last night. I practice some of the things you mentioned to conserve energy and water. There is a lot more to learn. I've just posted on Facebook about your book. I think lots of people need to know that each person has to do their part. Did I understand correctly that it takes 7 times the energy to produce corn for cows to produce a meet for one person? I want to make sure that it's correct before I start telling people about that.

Thank you to all who came and listened to me speak. It means a lot to me. It is my mission, for the rest of my life, to do all I can to leave our planet in a condition that allows our precious grandchildren to have happy and healthy lives. Right now, I have a lot of work to do. We certainly saw eating a plant-based diet can be delicious. That is so good for the planet. I hope attendees pick out more things to do as well. There are over 100 things listed in my book, CLIMATE CHANGE: OUR CHILDREN ARE IN DANGER, that work for us in our home and in our lives. They are like changing to a plant-based diet; once the changes are made, we feel so good about them and want to look for more we can do to help.

I am thrilled to be speaking to like-minded neighbors. You will understand me and the mission I have accepted to protect our children's futures. The raw vegans are treating the Earth well already, but there is more to do. You will be grateful to have a clearing understanding of the challenges our grandchild face. It's like having cancer and knowing about it. The things we can do now to help are on hold until we learn the diagnosis. This is not all bad news. In fact, my life has improved since becoming a green granny. Barbara Hennig will also be coming. She does not have a computer. She is a vegan, ate all raw in the past, and was thrilled to learn about this group. Thank you Lisa, for arranging this.
