For over 20 years, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training (TNT) has grown to become an unparalleled sports training program. More than 500,000 participants, from first timers to seasoned athletes, have trained with the TEAM and achieved their best at marathons, triathlons, cycling events and hiking adventures.
In exchange for unsurpassed endurance sports training and support, participants raise money to help The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society find cures for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma. In that time, participants have raised over $1 billion dollars towards the fight against blood cancer!
The Connecticut Chapter of Team In Training is currently recruiting teams for the 2012 spring and summer seasons! Events Include:
RUN/WALK: New York City Half Marathon, Country Music Full & Half Marathon (Nashville, TN), New Jersey Full & Half Marathon, Rock N' Roll San Diego Full & Half Marathon, Fairfield Half Marathon & 5K.
CYCLE:The Bloomin Metric (Norwalk, CT), America's Most Beautiful bike Ride (Tahoe).
TRIATHLON: St. Anthony's Triathlon (St. Petersburg, Florida), Sherwood Island Sprint Triathlon (Westport, CT), New York City Triathlon.
Hike: The Grand Canyon (Arizona)
