Mid-week Getaway/Las Virgenes Trail to Cheseboro Ridge Loop (about 6.0 miles)

This Loop is about 6 miles long.

Follow the directions to the trailhead as indicated below.

Note: HIKE IS ON Wedneday EVENING and starts at 5:45 pm.

Drink plenty of water prior to and during the hike.

This hike is for anyone who wants to get a great workout while socializing with fellow hikers.

From the Las Virgenes Trail connect with the beautiful Cheseboro Canyon Ridge to Cheseboro Canyon and Loop back. (about 6 miles)

Note that we are starting at the Las Virgenes Trailhead on Las Virgenes Road.

Hike Level: Intermediate for distance.(Beginner's with a positive attitude would do well also.)

If you want to bring your dog, it's fine as long as the pooch is leashed.

We will start at the northern end of Las Virgenes Rd and hike to the Cheseboro Ridge Trail. We'll then proceed down to the Canyon View Trail to the Cheseboro Canyon Trail and loop back to the picnic table.

Directions: To get to trailhead take 101 and exit Las Virgenes Rd. Turn north (away from beach) to end of road. If you are coming up from PCH, drive up Malibu Canyon to the end (Malibu Cyn changes its name to Las Virgenes Rd). The trailhead is marked clearly. Park on the street. If you can't park near the trailhead, just look for space down the street. We'll wait until you walk to the trailhead.

Parking is free.

I'll collect the $1 at the trailhead.

How 'bout that breeze? Unexpected, but appreciated. Made the hike a pleasure. Thanks Jan.

I had planned on joining you all for this hike but I think it is just too darn hot out - don't want to get out half way and need someone to carry me back! Hopefully I will make it for another one soon.
