Piedra Blanca Creek and the Sespe Wilderness-Swimming and Rock Scrambling too!

Details
Jim D, one of our members, has graciously volunteered to lead our group on this hike.
Thanks Jim!!!
Since this hike requires a diversity of skills, folks will be added from a waitlist by the organizer/leader. Preference will be given to those with whom we have already hiked. The hike is limited to 15 people.
Piedra Blanca Swimming Hole: Strenuous 8 mrt hike across the Sespe and up Piedra Blanca Creek, then some rock and boulder scrambling to a great swimming hole.

so expect to get wet.
• There will be a lot of rock scrambling, bush whacking, and poison oak avoidance during this portion of the hike.
It takes about 1 - 1.25 hours to "hike" this half mile. We will return via the same route.
It can be very hot in the Sespe Wilderness, so bring at least 3 liters of water, plus electrolytes.
Also bring lunch, snacks, hat, swimsuit, hiking shoes, and water sandals (if you prefer) for the creek portion of the hike.
This hike takes anywhere from 5 1/2 to 7 hours, depending on how fast we can navigate the creek and how long we stay at the swimming hole. We generally get back to the cars between 3:30 - 5:00.
Lunch after the hike at one of the delicious eateries in Ojai. To be determined.
Please evaluate your own skill level for hiking, climbing, bouldering, and water navigation before you sign up for the hike. No plus ones.
We'll meet at the Ventura carpool spot off of Seaward and consolidate cars for the trek to the trailhead. If you want to meet us directly at the trailhead, please let us know that too.
