Hike to Blue Canyon--- This hike starts at the ususal Wendy Dr trailhead, like hiking up to Tri Peaks. Before the Danielson Monument (Peace Joy Love) we turn right on the Old Boney Trail, hike past Fossil trail, to Blue Canyon. Stop at the Danielson picnic area, which is good place for an mini snack. Come back either the Sycamore Canyon Fire Road or side trails (Sin Nombre TR and Hidden Pond Tr) that will make it a little longer. Return up Upper Sycamore Canyon Tr. Think this is about a 12 mile hike.
No restrooms at the trailhead.

Directions to the trailhead:Wendy and Potrero Rd entrance: From the 101 in Newbury Park, exit Wendy Drive. Turn SW (towards the ocean) onto Wendy. Proceed all the way to the end of Wendy, as it ends at Portrero Rd. We will meet in the dirt parking lot on Portrero at the end of Wendy. Note: This trailhead is not at the entrance to the Satwiwa Parking Area.
