Post Tinsel Tri White Elephant Holiday Party + Charity

Let’s all meet at El Torito in the Temecula Mall at 6:30 PM

Our meetings are always awesome and this one will be one of the best! Let’s congratulate everyone for an awesome triathlon year, especially those who will have just completed the Tinsel Tri!

• To participate in the White Elephant gift exchange – Bring a WRAPPED gift (Max $20) and be ready to LOL and HAVE A BLAST!

We have so much to be thankful for – friends, family, opportunities, etc. There are those who are much less fortunate. Let’s come together this season and make a difference for a local family. We will be adopting a family for the Holiday's through SOS or "Share Our Selves". This year, the Adopt A Family Program will help over 1,100 families with children. Many of these families work multiple jobs to provide for their children, but unforeseen circumstances — reduced hours, sudden illness, a death in the family — make it nearly impossible to celebrate the holidays.  It’s not uncommon for an older child to ask nothing for himself, in exchange for toys for a younger sibling. A little help goes a long way in bringing smiles and joy to those who would otherwise go without this season.

• To participate in the SOS Adopt a Family - Please read about our family and their holiday needs and wishes below:

We have adopted a family of six.  Three of the children are teens and unfortunately, teens are often left out of the gift giving during the holidays when funds are tight.  Our adopted family is having a hard time making ends meet.  Lets help them have an unforgettable holiday!

Here is a little info about each of the members of our adopted family:

Israel - Israel is the father and could really use some mechanics tools or a "Sears gift card" to help him with his tool collection.  He could also use some warm clothes for the winter.  Shirt size XL, Pant size 38/30, Shoe size 9.

Maria - Maria is a loving mother and wife who would really like to prepare a holiday meal for her family.  A grocery gift card would help her do this.  Her wish list also includes an iron and hopes someday to have a microwave.  She too could really use some warm clothes.  Shirt size XL, Pant size 14, Shoe size 10.

Sara - Sara is just two years old and loves anything "Dora".  She would also like a toy stroller.  Sara could also use some warm clothes this winter.  Shirt size 7, Pant size 7, Shoe size 9.

Jose - Jose is 12 years old.  He could use a new or gently used scooter or bicycle to get back and forth from school.  He also needs warm winter clothes.  Shirt Size L, Pants 32/30, Shoe size 7.

Jesus - Jesus is 13 years old and loves to skateboard.  If he had a new or gently used skateboard, he would use it to go back and forth to school.  He also needs warm winter clothes.  Shirt Size L, Pant size 32/30, Shoe size 7.

Tania - Tania is 14 years old.  She would really like a new or gently used beach cruiser to get back and forth from school.  She also needs warm winter clothes.  Shirt size 5, Pant size 5, Shoe size 7.

I look forward to seeing everyone! Even if you have not joined us for a meetup yet – COME TO OUR PARTY! You will meet awesome people, learn about triathlons, and give back to our community. See You There!
