7 years ago started off with Loma Linda Lopers then joined the IE running club. I have ran at least 12 marathons and for the 20014 LA marathon IE training program I am the 8:30 pace leader . I feel I am always learning and my challenge this time around is a knee problem and training with a different program (LA)while I integrate mine for my return to the Boston Marathon. Looking forward to have the celebration that was taken from us.
For me the most important things is to learn how to swim and with my knee problem I also believe the cross training would be beneficial. With my present workout load I thought this would be a good way to begin making inroads to the TRI world. I also need help knowing where the swimming pools are while keeping the cost down or do I have to get another gym membership, so money is tight and that may ultimately affect what happens. Many friends from my club are beginning to enter TRI's but they are all the way out in Chino Hills and so are their resources so I thought I would look in this area to find a group that is flexible.
Hi I am a very focused runner always looking to challenge myself and would like to begin getting myself familiar with what and how to train for TRI's. I also look forward to meet like minded and positive people .
